Rhema Project currently has active initiatives in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. Myanmar is one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia. Poverty is prevalent in the country of Myanmar, with very little opportunities for jobs and stable livelihood. And because of this, many parents are unable to care and provide for their children.
The great news is there is hope.
An orphan can have a home. An underprivileged child can have an education and their needs can be provided for. A widow can have a family. Those who used to not belong can be a part of a community. The sick can be cared for. And the lost, they can be found.
